Montessori
7:30am
(7am option
for a nominal
fee) - 9:00am Children
arrive according
to schedule
of parents.
The children
choose a
variety
of activities
such as
writing
with the
moveable
alphabet,
counting
the spindle
boxes, or
returning
to a "work'
from the
previous
day.
8:00am - 11:15am
Children
continue
with the
4 hour Montessori
program,
choosing
their work,
having snack
etc.
11:15-12:00pm
Children
have line
time- a
group time
for music
and movement-
and outside
time on
our fenced-in
playground. This
is our first
pick up
time for
parents.
12:20pm
Children
who stay
past noon,
have parent
provided
lunch.
1:00pm
Children
separate
into age
groups.
3 year olds
have a short
story and
then nap,
4 year olds
and first
5 year old
children
have a program
designed
to build on the
Montessori
skills they
are learning,
and 5 and
6 year olds
gather for
our Kindergarten
program
which is
our version
of an all
day kindergarten.
2:30pm This
is our
second
pick up
time for
parents
2:30pm-3:00pm
All the
children
gather together
for line
time while
the napping
children
are waking
up.
3:00pm-5:30pm
(with a
6pm option
for a nominal
fee) The
children
go into
our Extended
Care room
and have
snack, play
games, go
outside
and do art
projects. This
is our last
pick up
time for
parents.
P.M.
Montessori
7:30am-
11:00am This
is the first
drop off time
for all day
children. Children
have snack,
play games and
do art in our
Extended Care
Room.
11:00am-11:30am
The children go outside
to play on the play
ground.
11:30-12:00pm
Children
have lunch.
12:00pm This
is the second drop off time
for the afternoon program. Children
start the 4 hour Montessori
program where they choose
a variety of works such
as the pink tower, dish
washing, sandpaper letters,
etc.
3:30pm
Children
have line
time-
group
time for
music
and movement.
4:00pm
Children join the rest of
the children in the Extended
Care room or get picked
up if in the Montessori
only program.
5:30pm
(with a 6pm option for a
nominal fee) This
is our last pick up time
for parents.
